NIFTY WAS UP 88.00 POINTS OR 0.82% AT 10,829.35

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.82%, which was closed at 10,829.35.It touched intraday high of 10,862.55 and low of 10,637.15.Among NSE’s Nifty fifty ,41 stocks were in advance while 9 shares were in decline. Market ended with positive notes on hopes of stimulus package from government .Sectorial Indexes like Media, Metal, Energy, Auto, Pharma, IT, Realty Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.18%, 3.41%, 2.80%, 1.54%, 1.43%,1.18%,0.08% respectively while FMCG, Bank indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.49%,0.28% respectively.

Media Index settled as the top gainer of today’s trading session which has recorded a gain of 4.18%. Shares of Network18,Dish TV, Zee Limited, TV18 Broadcast, Sun TV, DEN,PVR, TV Today were the gainers with a gain of 11.75%, 7.85%, 6.55%, 6.01%, 4.79%, 4.48%, 3.26%, 1.04% respectively while shares of Eros Media, Inox Leisure, Zee Media, DB Corp, Hathway, Navneet Education Limited, Jagran were the losers with a loss of 4.24%, 3.08%, 2.75%, 1.58%, 1.46%, 1.30%, 1.08% respectively.

Metal Index has gained 3.41% with shares of Vedanta Limited, Jindal steel, National Aluminium, Sail, Coal India, Tata Steel, Hindalco, JSW steel, Hindustan Copper, APL Apollo, NMDC, Hindustan Zinc, Welcorp gained by 5.70%, 5.05%, 4.61%, 433%,3.84%, 2.94%, 2.86%, 2.17%, 2.08%, 2.04%, 1.91%, 1.68%, 0.36% respectively while shares of Jindal stainless limited,Moil were the losers, lose by 0.48%, 0.04% respectively.

Energy Index has an upward motion during the trading session which has recorded a gain of 2.80%. Shares of Hindustan Petroleum, BPCL, ONGC, IOC, Gail, NTPC, Tata Power, Reliance, Reliance Infra were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.87%, 5.22%, 4.87%, 4.16%,3.32%, 3.27%, 2.62%, 2.35%, 2.18% respectively while Powergrid was the only loser with a loss of 0.47%.

Auto Index closed at 6,988.35 recorded a gain of 1.54%. stocks like Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Exide Industries Limited, Bosch Ltd, TVS Motors, Amara Raja Batteries limited, Bharat Forg, Apollo tyres, Mother son Sumi system, MRF, Maruti, Hero Moto corp., Bajaj Auto were having positive notes with a gain of 4.73%, 4.23%, 3.53%,3.43%, 3.19%, 2.53%, 2.19%, 1.81%,0.95%,0.93%,0.72%, 0.68%, 0.52%,0.31% respectively while Eicher Motors was the only loser with a loss of 0.94%.

Pharma Index opened at 7,669.00 and Closed at 7,780.55, recorded a gain of 1.43%. stocks like Sun Pharma, PEL, Cadila healthcare, Glenmark, Auro Pharma, Biocon, Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Dr. Reddy, Cipla were having positive notes with a gain of 3.22%,3.225, 3.06%, 2.365, 1.56%, 1.04%,0.22%, 0.16%,0.06%, 0.03% respectively .

IT Index started the trading session at 15,647.65 and ended the trading session at 15,816.60, reported a gain of 1.18%. Shares of Tata Elaxi, OFSS, Mind tree, TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Wipro were the gainers with a gain of 7.29%, 3.77%,2.41%, 1.86%, 1.53%, 0.70%, 0.66%, 0.62%, 0.38% respectively while Infibeam was the only loser with a loss of 1.51%.

Realty Index has a gain of 0.80% with shares of Sun Teck, DLF, Sobha, Phoenix Ltd, Mahindra Life space gained by 5.96%, 5.64%, 3.89%, 0.83%, 0.49% respectively while shares of Prestige, Oberoi Realty, India bulls real-estate, Godrej Properties, Brigade were the losers ,lose by 4.10%, 4.03%, 0.97%, 0.20%,0.04% respectively.

Bank Index has slumped by 0.28% which was opened at 26,835.35 and closed at 26,958.65.Shares of YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB, RBL Bank, SBI, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank ,Axis Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.60%,3.14%, 3.09%,1.40%,1.04%, 0.93%, 0.81%, 0.45% respectively while shares of IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 1.78%, 0.80%, 0.60%, 0.42% respectively.

FMCG Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which has registered a loss of 0.49%. Stocks like Jubilant Food works Limited, Tata Global, Emami Ltd, USL, UBL, Britannia, Colgate Palmolive, PGHH, Godrej Industries Limited were the gainers with a gain of 5.37%, 3.05%, 2.88%, 2.64%, 1.18%, 0.97%, 0.32%, 0.20%, 0.18% respectively while shares of Marico, ITC, Godrej Products, Dabur, HUL, GSK Cons were the losers with a loss of 3.47%, 1.50%, 0.87%, 0.70%, 0.35%,0.25% respectively.
