NIFTY FIFTY SLIPPED TO 10,980.00 LEVEL,DOWN BY 138.00 POINTS OR 1.24%

Nifty Fifty has registered a loss of 1.24% to close at 10,980.00 which was previously opened at 11,060.20 .It touched an intraday high of 11,076.75 and low of 10,881.00.Among NSE’s Nifty fifty,11 shares were in advance, 38 shares were in decline and 1 share was unchanged. Comments made by US Federal Reserve chair on the future trajectory of rate cuts dented market sentiment. Sectorial Indexes like Energy, Auto Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.21%, 0.06% respectively whereas Metal, Media, IT, Bank ,Pharma, Realty, FMCG were in the loser side with a loss of 3.13%,3.12%, 1.84%, 1.76%, 1.36%, 1.08%, 0.48% respectively.

Energy Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 0.21%. Stocks like Reliance Infra, Powergrid, Reliance were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.94%, 1.83%, 1.67% respectively while stocks like Tata Power, ONGC, IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail, BPCL were in the loser side with a loss of 1.82%,1.44%, 1.36%, 1.11%, 0.47%, 0.43% respectively.

Auto Index has a gain of 0.06% which opened at 6,806.70 and closed at 6,856.10.Shares of Maruti,Bosch Ltd, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Hero Moto Corp were the gainers in this index with a gain of 2.13%, 1.12%,0.93%, 0.89%, 0.59% whereas shares of Tata Motors, TVS Motors, Apollo tyre, Amara raja Batteries Limited were the losers, lose by 4.35%, 2.72%, 1.94%, 1.72%, 1.55%, 1.07%,0.68%, 0.55%, 0.51%, 0.34% respectively.

FMCG Index ended with a negative note by recording a loss of 0.48%. Shares of Tata Global, Godrej Products, Britannia, HUL were in the positive territory with a gain of 2.82%, 0.88%, 0.47%, 0.27% while shares of USL, PGHH, Marico, Godrej Industries Limited, ITC, Jubilant Foodworks Limited, Emami Ltd, UBL were in the negative territory with a loss of 2.71%, 2.20%, 1.44%, 1.15%, 1.04%, 0.86%, 0.81%,0.74% respectively.

Realty Index was in the negative territory during the trading session which registered a loss of 1.08%. Shares of Oberoi Realty, Prestige, Mahindra Life space were having positive notes with a gain of 2.63%, 2.22%, 0.04% respectively while shares of Sobha, India bulls real-estate, DLF, Brigade, Godrej Properties, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck were the losers with a loss of 4.97%, 4.63%, 3.03%,1.38%, 1.12%, 0.48%,0.11% respectively.

Pharma Index opened at 7,945.05 and closed at 7,878.75, recorded a loss of 1.36%. Cadila healthcare was the gainer with a gain of 0.20% while shares of Auro Pharma, Cipla, Dr. Reddy, Biocon, PEL, Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Glenmark, Sun Pharma were the losers with a loss of 3.63%, 1.71%, 1.65%, 1.28%, 1.21%, 1.02%, 0.96%, 0.72%, 0.42% respectively.

Bank Index has lose 1.76% with shares of SBI, Federal Bank, YES Bank, PNB,RBL Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda lose by 4.70%, 3.19%, 2.30%, 1.88%, 1.61%, 1.53%, 1.40%, 1.12% respectively .

IT Index has a downward tendency during the trading session which recorded a loss of 1.84%. Wipro was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 2.11% while shares of Mind tree, Tata Elaxi, OFSS, Infibeam, Infosys, HCL Tech,Tech Mahindra were the losers with a loss of 3.67%, 3.62%, 3.55%, 3.14%, 2.95%, 1.74%,1.72% respectively.

Media Index has lose 3.12% with shares of Jagran, Dish TV, Eros Media, Zee Limited, DB Corp, Hathway, Sun TV, Navneet Education Limited, PVR, TV18 Broadcast lose by 6.43%, 6.20%, 5.00%,3.98%, 3.63%, 3.47%, 3.29%, 2.12%, 1.79%, 1.39%,1.28% respectively while shares of TV Today, Network18,Inox Leisure, Inox Leisure, DEN were the gainers with a gain of 3.41%, 1.65%, 0.46%, 0.33% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 3.13%. Shares of Welcorp, NMDC were the gainers with a gain of 5.46%, 0.23% while shares of Vedanta Limited, JSW Steel, Jindal steel, Hindalco Tata Steel, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal stainless Limited, Sail were in the losers side with a loss of 5.61%, 5.01%, 4.33%, 4.17%, 2.86%, 2.77%, 2.17%, 1.75% respectively.
