NIFTY FIFTY WAS UP 6.10 POINTS AT 11,053.90

Nifty Fifty settled higher 6.10 points, or 0.06 per cent, at 11,053.90 with 20 stocks advancing and 30 declining. It touched intraday high of 11,146.90 and low of 11,037.85.Nifty closed with slight positive notes after hopes of a revival package from the government .Sectorial Indexes like Pharma, Media, Realty, IT Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.74%, 0.66%, 0.62%,0.32% respectively whereas Auto, Metal, FMCG, Bank, Energy Indexes were in the losers side with a loss of 0.56%,0.45%, 0.18%, 0.11%,0.01% respectively.

Pharma Index was the top gainer of Today’s Trading session which recorded a gain of 0.74%. Shares of Sun Pharma, Glenmark, Dr. Reddy, PEL, Divi’s Lab, Cadila healthcare, Lupin, Auro Pharma, Cipla were the gainers with a gain of 2.72%, 2.31%, 0.84%,0.82%, 0.69%, 0.62%, 0.50%, 0.23%, 0.19% respectively while Biocon was the only loser with a loss of 4.96%.

Media Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.66%. Shares of Hathway, DEN, PVR, Eros Media, Network18,TV Today, Zee Media, Zee Limited were in the positive territory with a gain of 6.75%, 5.18%, 4.68%, 4.59%,1.37%, 1.24%, 0.47%, 0.33% respectively while shares of DB Corp, Navneet Education Limited, Dish TV, Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, Jagran were the losers with a loss of 2.67%, 1.91%, 1.23%, 0.44%,0.24%, 0.15%,0.07% respectively.

Realty Index closed at 266.75, recorded a gain of 0.62%. Stocks like Prestige, Oberoi Realty, Mahindra Life space, Brigade, DLF, Sun Teck were the gainers with a gain of 4.93%, 1.89%, 1.75%, 1.02%, 0.68%, 0.27% respectively while stocks like India bulls real-estate, Phoenix Ltd, Sobha, Godrej Properties were the losers with a loss of 3.75%, 2.76%,1.26%,0.47% respectively.

IT Index recorded a gain of 0.32%. Stocks like NIIT Tech, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Tata Elaxi, Infosys, HCL Tech, Mind tree, TCS were the gainers with a gain of 2.54%, 2.26%, 1.22%,0.95%, 0.45%, 0.07%,0.06%, 0.04% respectively while stocks like OFSS, Infibeam were the losers with a loss of 2.56%, 2.09% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 14,593.10, recorded a loss of 0.01%. Shares of Tata Power,Reliance,NTPC were the gainers with a gain of 2.14%, 0.94%, 0.85% respectively while shares of Reliance Infra, Gail, BPCL, ONGC, Powergrid, IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, were the losers with a loss of 4.32%, 1.66%, 1.17%, 1.06%, 0.77%, 0.20%, 0.20% respectively .

Bank Index has lose 0.11% with shares of Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, Federal Bank, Bank of Baroda lose by 1.41%,1.07%, 0.87%, 0.53%, 0.20% respectively whereas shares of YES Bank, SBI, PNB, HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Bank, IndusInd Bank were the gainers, gained by 3.34%, 1.50%, 0.95%, 0.75%, 0.55%, 0.13%, 0.01% respectively .

FMCG Index has an downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.18%. Shares of Jubilant food works Limited, Coalgate Palmolive, Dabur, Marico, Godrej Products, Tata Global were in the positive zone with a gain of 3.41%, 0.80%, 0.77%, 0.70%, 0.67%, 0.51% respectively while shares of Godrej Industries Limited, Emami Ltd, UBL, Britannia, GSK Cons, USL , ITC, HUL, PGHH were the losers with a loss of 1.36%, 1.28%, 1.00%, 0.90%,0.90%, 0.77%, 0.55%,0.31%, 0.08% respectively.

Metal Index closed at 2,391.35,recorded a loss of 0.45%. Shares of Hindalco, Moil, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal steel, Welcorp were the gainers with a gain of 1.22%, 0.78%, 0.70%,0.67%, 0.22% respectively whereas shares of APL Apollo, Coal India, NMDC, Jindal stainless steel, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Hindustan Copper, Sail, National Aluminium, Vedanta Limited were the losers with a loss of 1.77%, 1.51%, 0.97%, 0.97%, 0.92%, 0.92%, 0.77%, 0.69%, 0.48%, 0.14% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.56%. Shares of Ashok Leyland, MRF, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Maruti were the gainers with a gain of 1.96%, 1.52%,0.79%,0.47% respectively while Stocks like TVS Motors, Eicher Motors, Hero Moto Corp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bosch Ltd, Bajaj Auto, Mother Son Sumi System, Apollo Tyre, Exide Industries Limited, Bharat Forg, Tata Motors were in the loser side with a loss of 1.50%, 1.35%, 1.20%, 1.11%, 0.86%, 0.76%, 0.61%, 0.37%, 0.31%, 0.25%,0.08% respectively.
