NIFTY FIFTY ENDED AT 11,047.80, UP 18.4 POINTS, OR 0.17 PERCENT.

Nifty Fifty ended the trading session at 11,047.80, recorded a gain of 0.17% which was earlier opened at 11,043.65. It touched intraday high of 11,043.65 and low of 10,924.30.About 30 shares were in advance while 20 shares were in decline. Market ended with positive notes supported by auto and banking shares.Sectorial Indexes like Auto, Bank, Realty, Energy, FMCG Indexes were the gainers with a gain of 1.15%, 0.71%, 0.28%, 0.21%, 0.17% subsequently while Pharma, IT, Metal, Media Indexes were the losers with a loss of 0.77%, 0.65%, 0.37%, 0.13% respectively.

Auto Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.15%. Shares of Maruti, Bosch Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Hero Moto Corp, Bajaj auto, TVS Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Apollo tyre, Eicher Motors were the gainers with a gain of 2.65%, 2.61%, 1.92%, 1.29%, 1.26%, 1.21%, 0.67%, 0.25%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Exide Industries limited, Bharat Forg, MRF, Mother son Sumi System, Tata Motors were the losers with a loss of 1.97%, 1.33%, 1.03%, 0.86%, 0.51%, 0.21% respectively.

Bank Index has an upward motion during the trading session which registered a gain of 0.71%. Stocks like PNB, IDFC First Bank, YES Bank, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, Axis Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.74%, 3.27%, 2.55%, 2.44%,2.35%, 1.79%, 1.24%, 1.18%, 0.66%, 0.46%, 0.19% respectively while HDFC Bank was the only loser with a loss of 0.25%.

Realty Index has recorded a gain of 0.28% with shares of Brigade,Godrej Properties, DLF, India bulls real-estate, Prestige, Mahindra Life space gained by 2.41%, 1.29%, 1.26%, 0.44%,0.44%, 0.18% respectively while shares of Sobha, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, Oberoi Realty were the losers with a loss of 2.72%, 1.82%, 0.31%, 0.21% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 14,593.95, recorded a gain of 0.21%. Shares of Powergrid, Gail, Tata Power, NTPC, ONGC were in the positive territory with a gain of 2.95%,2.21%, 0.99%,0.30%, 0.12% respectively while shares of Reliance Infra, BPCL, Reliance, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC were the losers with a loss of 6.28%, 1.13%, 0.76%, 0.45%,0.24% respectively.

FMCG Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which reported a gain of 0.17% with shares of ITC, Britannia, Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited rose by 1.57%, 0.83%, 0.35%, 0.28% subsequently while shares of UBL, Jubilant Food works Limited,Godrej Products, Dabur, HUL, GSK Cons, Tata Global, Colgate Palmolive,PGHH, USL, Marico were the losers with a loss of 2.60%, 1.90%, 1.24%, 0.78%, 0.67%, 0.34%, 0.19%, 0.17%, 0.15%, 0.10%, 0.01% respectively.

Media Index closed at 1,859.10, recorded a loss of 0.13%. Shares of Eros Media, Inox Leisure, DB Corp, ZEE Limited, Sun TV, Jagran were the gainers with a gain of 4.81%, 2.67%, 1.22%, 1.16%, 0.84%, 0.76% respectively while shares of Hathway, DEN, Navneet education Limited, PVR, TV18 Broadcast, Dish TV, Network18,TV Today, ZEE Media were the losers with a loss of 4.13%, 3.65%, 3.45%, 3.27%, 3.02%, 1.83%, 1.56%, 1.09%, 0.47% respectively.

Metal Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 0.37%. Shares of APL Apollo, Hindustan Copper, Hindustan Zinc, Coal India, Jindal steel, JSW steel were the gainers the with a gain of 4.62%, 3.18%, 1.44%, 0.80%, 0.43%, 0.31% respectively while shares of Welcorp, Sail, NMDC, Vedanta Limited, National aluminium, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Jindal stainless limited, Moil, JSW steel were the losers with a loss of 2.83%, 2.16%, 2.01%, 1.67%, 1.67%, 0.80%, 0.75%, 0.67%, 0.31% respectively.

IT Index has lose 0.65% with shares of NIIT Tech, TCS, Mind tree, HCL Tech, Wipro, Infibeam, Tech Mahindra lose by 2.62%, 1.92%, 1.45%, 1.33%,0.58%, 0.23%, 0.01% respectively while shares of OFSS, Tata Elaxi, Infosys were the gainers with a gain of 3.63%, 1.90%,0.03% respectively.

Pharma Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.77%. PEL was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 1.05% while shares of Glenmark, Divi’s Lab, Biocon, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy, Auro Pharma, Cadila Healthcare, Cipla were having a loss of 6.56%, 2.14%, 1.44%, 0.93%, 0.90%, 0.83%, 0.59%, 0.48%, 0.27% respectively.
