NIFTY DOWN 183.80 POINTS AT 10,925.85, THE BIGGEST SINGLE-DAY FALL IN A MONTH.

Nifty fifty closed at 10,925.85, recorded a loss of 1.65%. It touched intraday high of 11,145.90 and low of 10,901.60.About 5 shares were in advance, 44 shares were in decline and 1 share was changed. Market settled with negative note due concerns over the US-China trade war, protests in Hong Kong and Argentina crash . Among sectorial Indexes, Energy Index was the gainer with a gain of 1.90% whereas Pharma, Realty, Media, Metal, FMCG, Bank, IT, Auto Indexes were the losers with a loss of 0.91%,1.00%, 1.16%, 1.76%, 1.96%, 2.47%, 2.51%, 3.95% respectively.

Energy Index was the only gainer of today’s trading session which registered a gain of 1.90% . Shares of Reliance, Gail were the gainers with a gain of 9.74%, 1.37% respectively while shares of Reliance Infra, NTPC, ONGC, IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Power, BPCL were the losers with a loss of 5.16%, 3.58%,3.55%, 3.45%, 3.20%, 2.78%, 1.02% respectively.

Pharma Index witnessed a loss of 0.91% in today’s trading session .Shares of Sun Pharma, Auro Pharma were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.87%, 0.53% respectively while shares of Divi’s Lab, Cadila healthcare, Glenmark, PEL,Biocon, Cipla, Lupin, Dr. Reddy were the losers with a loss of 8.65%, 4.67%, 2.67%, 2.67%, 2.28%, 2.27%, 2.28%, 2.27%, 1.65%, 1.48%, 0.79% respectively .

Realty Index was in the negative Territory which registered a loss of 1.00%. Shares of Sun Teck, Phoenix Ltd were the gainers with a gain of 1.84%, 0.78% respectively while shares of Sobha, Mahindra Life space, Oberoi Realty, DLF, Prestige, India bulls Real-estate, Brigade, Godrej Properties were the losers with a loss of 5.80%, 3.74%, 1.49%, 1.34%, 100%, 0.88%, 0.86%, 0.02% respectively.

Media Index has a downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 1.16%. Shares of Hathway, DEN, Network18,TV18 Broadcast, Eros Media, Jagran, TV Today, Zee Limited, Navneet Education Limited were in the positive territory with a gain of 20.00%, 13.47%, 10.70%, 5.85%, 4.74%, 2.91%, 1.04%, 0.37%, 0.14% respectively while shares of Sun TV, Inox Leisure, PVR, Dish TV, Zee Media, DB corp. Were in the negative territory with a loss of 6.22%, 4.66%, 4.28%, 2.78%, 1.37% ,0.10% respectively.

Metal Index ended the trading session at 2,379.55,recorded a loss of 1.76%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Sail, Jindal steel, Tata Steel, Hindustan Copper, Hindustan Zinc APL Apollo were the top losers with a loss of 7.29%, 6.19%, 4.61%, 4.02%, 3.96%, 3.51%, 3.03% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 28,728.50, registered a loss of 1.96% which was earlier opened at 29,285.55.Marico was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 0.11% whereas shares of USL, ITC, Jubilant Food works Limited, Emami Ltd, Britannia, Godrej Industries Limited were the top losers with a loss of 3.82%, 3.76%, 3.38%, 2.95%, 2.94%, 2.52% respectively.

Bank Index has lose 2.47% with shares of YES Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank, IDFC First Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank,ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda lose by 10.89%, 5.23%,3.53%, 3.38%, 2.87%2.70%,2.45%, 2.37%, 2.25% respectively .

IT Index witnessed a loss of 2.51% in today’s trading session .NIIT Tech was the only gainer with a gain of 1.15% while shares of Mind tree, Infibeam, Tata Elaxi, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, OFSS, TCS, Wipro, HCL Tech were the top losers with a loss of 4.22%, 3.73%, 3.58%, 3.47%, 3.27%, 2.56%, 2.06%, 1.90%, 1.47% respectively .

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session with a loss of 3.95%. Shares of Mother son sumi system, Bharat forg, Bosch Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, TVS Motors, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Apollo tyre were the top losers, lose by 8.71%, 6.65%, 6.07%, 5.87%, 5.355, 5.11%,5.05%,3.89%,2.74% respectively while Amara raja Batteries Limited was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 0.04%.
